What Causes Pain And Swelling In The Fingers After An Injury?

I broke my hand two days ago by punching a wall i broke the bone right under my right pinky knuckle and the doctor put me a splint on my two fingers and now my middle finger and my index finger is swollen and really hurting me (index finger and middle finger) is that normal or should i go check it out

Hello,

It could be an inflammatory swelling.

As of now, you can use analgesics/anti-inflammatory combination like aceclofenac/serratiopeptidase for symptomatic relief.

If symptoms persist better to consult a physician and get evaluated.

If there are signs of infection, antibiotics have to be started.
