What Causes Pain And Redness On Left Eye?

hi,so this morning I woke up and noticed that my left eye hurt. When I looked at it the eye lid appeared red in color as if there were broken blood vessels in my eye lid. It s not oozing anything and it s not overly watery. It hurts to move my eye in any direction. It also is uncomfortable to have my eye open. I can keep it open but it hurts. I have had several eye surgeries on this eye my last one was in 2011 and none of the scar tissue seems to be inflamed or irritated, but I do have monocular vision and can t tell if the vision in this eye is blurry because I don t use the eye. I do have any recollection of being hit in the eye, and have no signs of anything being in the eye. It does feel slightly harder than the other eye and I don t know how concerned I should be. It has slowly gotten worse as the day has gone on

I really appreciate your concern, if this is the pre-exiting eye condition and already had some surgery then right now this condition need to be look for infection or some defect of retina and for that you have to go for complete eye examination till then oral anti-inflammatory drugs can be used and best drug would be "Tab Ibuprofen 400 mg three times in day, hope this information helps, take care and have a nice day.
