What Causes Pain And Numbness In The Right Arm?

I have pain in my right arm, from my lower shoulder wrapping down to the area around my elbow. It hurts more if I twist my arm, in what would be a normal way, for example to reach to my left shoulder. It also feels a little numb, but not tingling. The pain has been present for a few days and is worse the last two days.

Hello,

As per your clinical history, is concerned please follow like this-
1) Do a clinical examination by your doctor [Neurologist] and to confirm do an MRI scan.
2) Discuss with your doctor about following prescription medications [oxycodone-acetaminophen] and [gabapentin]
3) Discuss with your physiotherapist for a specific exercise plan.
Do follow lifestyle modifications like this -
1) Do exercise regularly. Strengthening the trunk muscles helps stabilize and support the spine.
2) Try to maintain good posture. Good posture reduces the pressure on your spine and disks. Keep your back straight and aligned, particularly when sitting for long periods. Lift heavy objects properly, making your legs, not your back.
3) Try to maintain a healthy weight. Excess weight puts more pressure on the spine and disks, making them more susceptible to herniation.
