Hi..
Welcome to HEALTHCARE MAGIC..

I have gone through your query and can understand your concern...

As per your complain the swelling and pain in tonsils can be due to infection caused by either bacteria or virus..
At times along with Viral Infection there can be secondary Bacterial infection..
You can take Azithromycin 500 mg once a day ,Ibuprofen 400 mg thrice a day, chewable Vitamin C tablet once daily, all medicines should be taken for 5 days..
Do warm saline gargles 2 to 3 times a day, avoid spicy food and drink plenty of water..

Wishing you soon recovery..

Thanks and regards..
