General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

I agree with your doctor that the symptoms seem to be related to a torn muscle. I recommend to use a muscle relaxant such as Baclofen to relieve the pain. I also suggest using magnesium to help with muscle relaxation. I also recommend warm showers and warm compresses.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Dorina Gurabardhi, General & Family Physician
