What Causes Pain And Cramps In The Breasts After An IUI Procedure?

I am 13 days past my IUI, this will be my third. After every IUI, I have very sore breasts and cramps the whole two weeks. I know it is from the trigger shot I receive. However this time I have had very little symptoms. I have been nauseous last few days, and only now have tender breasts. Not as tender as every other IUI. I haven t had period cramps, maybe a bit of pressure now and then. I took a test today and got negative. When should I re test and is it possible I may still be pregnant, I have been so nauseous. This morning I felt fine, and as soon as I had a granola bar the nausea kicked in and stayed for a few hours.

Sore breasts, cramps, nausea can occur due to change in hormonal level after intrauterine insemination (IUI). I suggest you discuss the symptoms with your treating doctor.
