What Causes Pain And Burning Sensation In Pelvic Area After Having Unsafe Sex?

Hello. I started taking contraception pills about 10 days ago. During that time I had intercourse that was not safe. I am still taking pills, but there are few s symptoms I experience, like a burning feeling inside of my uterus, sometimes the pain is very strong during the night. And usually the pain appears around the time I had to take the contraceptive pill. Is it possible that this burning pain is a sign of early pregnancy?

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi,
Welcome to Healthcare Magic Forum.
I have gone through your Query & I really appreciate your concern about the problem you are facing.

As a physician I would like to tell you that there are very very little chances of you being pregnant because you had sex in first half of your menstrual cycle in time when there are absolutely zero chances of ovulation. So you are not pregnant.

Thus, I would suggest that you should let your body to adjust to new medicine of OCP for 1 month and if you continue to experience these symptoms even after 1 month, you should visit your Obgy doc as soon as possible.

Thanks for Trusting & Posting your Query on this forum.
Hope this will help you. Feel free to ask any further question.
Have a nice Day.

Regards,
Dr.Abhijeet
