What Causes Pain And Burning Sensation In Nose After A Cauterization?
My daughter had a cauterization in her right nostril done this morning. We saw a new ENT for nosebleeds. She has some pain/burning in her nose and has not stopped sneezing. i read that she should not blow her nose but there is substantial mucus. What can I do for her to make her more comfortable? The Dr asked to see her back in three weeks and didn t really give me after care instructions except to say to saline her during the day and Vaseline at night. I didn t think to ask as my daughter and I were both caught off guard with the unexpected procedure.
Hi, Due to cauterization there might be having some congestion and soreness causing bleeding and pain. Put some decongestant nasal drops. do not blow her nose. Take some oral decongestant medicine. Ok and take care.
