What Causes Pain And Bruising In Foot?

Hi............A few days ago, I felt something like a cramp in my foot, between my middle toe and the one beside the big toe...........it didnt really hurt, but it felt like a mild cramp and my toes seemed to be apart from each other more than usual. I didnt pay much attention to it until Sunday night after dinner, when i stood on my foot, the ball of my foot was sore to stand on. The foot was not really painful to walk on, but it still felt odd. Last night i massaged the toes, to try and relax the muscles.........after a little while, when i looked down at my foot, i had a bruise on the top of my foot, and also one on the bottom of my foot. Now i bruise very easily, but i have never had a bruise on the bottom of my foot before. Again it is not painful to walk on, just mildly sore. I don t recall bumping my foot, but i do exercise before bed and bike ride in the mornings. I m hoping this is nothing serious.

Hello,

As I understand by the history there was bruise and pain of the feet.

Let me ask this? are you diabetic or high blood pressure?

This pain what you sensed could be related to uric acid? But we can only say it's due to uric acid when you have the burning of the feet.

In case if all the above I mentioned isn't valid for you then there is nothing to worry.

Use hot water fermentation and keep the leg elevated over the pillow. you should be fine.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Jay Indravadan Patel, Physical Therapist or Physiotherapist
