What Causes Pain All Over Body After Getting Viral Fever?

I am suffering from knee joints pain hand pain n almost all body pain after getting viral fever.I took medicines like etos n all.After stopping that I got the same pains including foot pain.And swelling is there.I cant sit stand n walk.Some doctor suggest me to take Topa-D.Night I took.But pain increased like anything why?pl help me dr.I am going to retire next week on 29th as I am working in Bsnl.On 29th grand function in our office.pl help me to recover soon.

In my clinical practice I usually treat it by injection triamcilone weekly with good results. It generally resolve within 1-3 weeks.
