What Causes Overactive Bladder Despite Taking Betmiga?

I ve received Betmiga 50 mg from my Doctor for my over active bladder which in my case is a result of my bladder opp last November. I ve got a tvt tape placed. I used the tablets for two weeks with not really improvement and also felt depressed. I stopped taking the tablets and feel much better. But still have the overactive bladder problems of course. Don t know what to do now. Reviews about Betmiga scares me.

General Surgeon 's  Response
Hello,

The Betmiga is a beta 3 adrenoreceptor agonist working t relax the bladder muscles in case of overactive bladder. If the individual is not adjustable with the results of the therapy, she is absolutely at liberty to discontinue the same. Providing the latest uroflowmetry results are available, there would be further comments possible in this regard so far as the cause of overactive bladder is concerned despite medication and operated for TVT tape.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Bhagyesh V. Patel, General Surgeon
