What Causes Outbreak Of Welts All Over The Body With Abdominal Pain?
Hello My name is Tiffany and I broke out in hives/welts Sunday night and it has gotten worse today.. The welts are all over my body and now inside my mouth. On top of that I am now experiencing upper abdominal pains...that feels like my throat is starting to close up
Hives/wales most commonly occur as a result of allergic reactions. An allergic reaction can occur to almost any agent - food, drink, medication, herbs
Some persons also develop hives in response to less common causes such as exposure to sun, cold or warm water, pressure on the skin, exercise , emotional stress etc
You should consider the use of an antihistamine to help with your reaction but you need to speak to your doctor if the pain continues or worsens.
I hope this helps
