What Causes Orange Bite Marks Beside Streak Marks On The Thigh?

I was bitten today. I have 2 orange bite marks with a M like streak mark beside it on the back of my thigh. It has been burning now for 6 hours. I have put cortisone on it but it has not helped with the burning. The bite started out as 2 little red marks and now they have turned orange and have enlarged in size, and again beside the bite to the left there is a streak mark in the shape of M liking.

Hi,

You should visit a local doctor as he will observe the local lesion to make the diagnosis. And you can take an anti-inflammatory drug as diclofenac or ibuprofen till you visit casualty. You also did not tell us that what bite you. Anyway, visit the doctor if the problem is increasing.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Varinder Joshi,
