General Surgeon 's  Response
Hello,

As per my surgical experience, the numbness in the shoulder blade may be due to underlying nerve compression of some sort or muscle, ligament pull. There is no threat of cancer in this regard, but a clinical examination is mandatory for details of possible cause and further management in this regard.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Bhagyesh V. Patel, General Surgeon
