What Causes Numbness In The Lower Back And Legs?

I have chronic pain and have received several trigger point injections on both sides of the upper shoukdet. Additionally i am having almost constant tingling/numbness from my lower back down both legs but primarily the right side. I also can be walking along and then get severe pain in the hip/buttock area which stops me in my tracks. If I wait a couple of minutes it goes away. This has been occurring in and off for several (6) years.

Neurologist 's  Response
Hi,

This back pain is likely to be Lumbosacral radiculopathy due to nerve root compression and canal stenosis.
Get examined by a Neurologist and get a MRI of lumbar spine too.

Hope I have answered your query.
Let me know if I can assist you further.
