What Causes Numbness In The Lips And Dizziness?

Hi, I had a dizzy spell today. I was seeing white spots, my lips became numb as well as my right hand. I was nauseous as well but didn t throw up. It lasted ten minutes or so, I was able to drive home. I had surgery a year ago for an inguinal hernia, they put in a mesh. It has seemed a bit sensitive recently, can that be related?

Hi,
Welcome to HCM.
I have read your question carefully.
You haven't mentioned your age, weight, any history of other illnesses like diabetes, high blood pressure, etc.
Feeling dizzy and numb at lip and hand is not related to surgery for inguinal hernia.
I might be a transient ischemic attack which should be a reason to worry. You should visit a physician and get evaluated for hypertension and diabetes if not already done.
Hope this will be helpful.
Take care.
