My mother has been having problems with her hands for about two weeks now. It started with the tips of her fingers on both hands being numb. Then the numbness went to all of her fingers and now both hands with severe pain. She has been very weak as well. She has osteoarthritis in her back too. She was pretty active but has not been able to drive for a couple of weeks. She started taking predizone yesterday. She has been trying to wear splints but hard to manuver with a walking while wearing them.
