General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi, thanks for trusting Healthcare Magic.

I understand with your concerns, but you should not worry too much about this if it only happens occasionally. Numbness or paresthesia may arise from sitting too long or the habit of crossing the legs.

However, in some circumstances it can be a sign of serious illnesses such as diabetic neuropathy, peripheral arterial disease, or gout arthritis.
To ascertain this condition, it is better to consult further with a neurologist. The doctor will perform follow-up tests such as blood tests, Electromyography, CT Scan, etc. The therapy itself will be managed by the cause that found.

Here are some tips for you:
1. Routine exercise
2. Get enough sleep
3. Avoid or limit the consumption of alcoholic beverages
4. Quit smoking
5. Start healthy diet

Keep up the good work!
