What Causes Numbness In The Foot When Diagnosed With DVT?

I have a DVT in my left leg that has been under treatment over a year now. I noticed last night while in bed that the bottom of my left foot is completely numb! I have a COOK SELECT FILTER in the vein below my belly button. I am under medical treatment now. The Vein Center has been rerouting veins in both legs because of poor circulation in both legs. My left forearm and hand is also numb! Numbness in forearm has been going on for sometime now, I m also losing strength in left hand. Should I go to ER or ask my Dr. tomorrow?

Hello,

DVT is probably not associated with numbness in your legs and arms. Numbness can be due to compression of nerves. I suggest you consult your physician.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care
