What Causes Numbness In The Finger After Injecting Methamphetamine?

So I injected meth into the vein below my middle finger on my hand. I registered and injected slowly making sure to take into consideration the size of the vein and the blood flow speed. I continue to ensure I was still in the vein while slowly injecting being careful not to blow the vein. My hand is not swollen nor does it hurt. However my fingers are pretty cold and slightly numb. I didnt miss and I experienced no pain while injecting despite the slight warning sensation travelling through my vein from the meth, which always happens. What could the problem be? I used a brand new rig as well.

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi,

I am sorry to hear you are injecting meth. I hope you will re-consider what you are doing and think to stop using it. Your life is worth enough not to waste by injection.

The numbness you experiencing in middle finger is due to the injection trauma or due to effect of meth although you say everything is ok.

It will be vanished by time, apply alternating cold and warm compresses locally. If you still continue injecting, change different site. I'm still insisting you should give more value to your life and yourself rather than injecting.

All the best.
