What Causes Numbness In The Feet?
A month ago the side of my foot started to hurt and experience numbnes in a specific spot. When I laid down that foot the would hurt so much it kept me from. Sleeping. It would feel like stabbing or ripping of the flesh when trying to turn it in a certain way. Now a mn later the symptoms are still pretty simular but have spread I have a swollen ancle, pain everywhere in the foot, still numb in that one spot and it s not going away of getting better. I have SLE and bone spurs. Should I just chuck this up as nerve damage and wait to see my foot dr. In June or see my family Dr. Sooner

Numbness could be due to either compression in the lumbar spine or there is some peripheral nerve disorder. Kindly tell me your age and any co-morbidities like diabetes, hypertension, etc.
