What Causes Numbness In Foot?

I stepped on broken glass 6 days ago. My foot is knumb and I m not sure if it s just from not walking on it for a week. Is this normal? And when should I try to walk on it? I got 9 stitches and they told me get them out 7-10 days later. But told me I couldn t take baths or let my foot be submerged in water. Also do I have to wait the full 10 days to get the stitches out? Or can I just get them out on the 7th day?I ve stayed in bed for the past 6 days with my foot elevated. And if I had to get u

I think you should wait for 10 days before getting the stitches out. The foot is numb but it can be result from edema, not walking or you may have damaged the nerves also. I can suggest you to take the needed time to recover.
