What Causes Numbness Around An Injection Site On The Left Leg?

I had a miscarriage and was rushed to the hospital of which I was given an injection on my left leg above the knee...4 hour later I have been having numbness around the injected area. What can I do since I have tried using ice cubes and even warm water but still no change..am so worried

don't worry.. apply thrombofob ointment on site... and observe site.. if there is any redness or hard swelling then visit to doctor...
