Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
What Causes Numbness And Tingling Sensation In The Leg?
For the last 10 days I have had numbness and tingling in my left leg. It is from the buttocks to the toes. When I touch something with my foot or leg to something it feels warm even if it is a cold bathroom floor. I also have a bit of a motor-skill issue too. I normally play volleyball 5 times a week. I took off 5 days and when I went back to play I found it difficult to run or jump.
The symptoms you have described are insufficient to reach any diagnosis. Please provide more info like- -What is your age? -Was there any injury to hip or back? -Is there any back pain? -Where is this numbness exactly-posterior aspect of leg/anterior aspect or complete leg is involved? -Any associated illness like diabetes? Please reply so that we could properly guide you. thank you
