What Causes Numbness And Tingling Sensation In Feet After A Knee Injury?

Had a fall at work and landed on both knees and hands on concrete floor. Delayed workers comp ortho follow up by a month now even though I have been complaining of increased numbness and tingling in both feet since fall on Dec 9th. Am concerned about irreparable damage

It is understandable to be worried about any long term effects but it is possible that there may be no lasting effects present.

Trauma is one cause of neuralgia (nerve related pain) because it causes neuropathy (abnormal function of the nerves).
The nerves can repair themselves, it depends on the extent of the damage.

Repair can take weeks to months.
