What Causes Numbness And Ringing In My Ear?

hello i am 19yrs old teenage girl and i am having this problem like ringing in my ear and the outer part is numb and i feel pain in the left side of brain (the areas near ear) i went to my doctor but she thought it was due to wax and she cleaned all of it after it i felt better but now after 4 days of cleaning i feel it has got worse and i also felt that my left side of face is getting a little numb and also when i tried to get up i almost fainted. please i hope to get the answer soon please i am so worried :(

As per your complain it seems that ringing in ears along with outer ear numbness can occur due to causes like ear infection, perforated eardrum, excess ear wax accumulation, Eustachian tube dysfunction, Meniere's disease, TMJ disorders, Acoustic Neuroma etc.

I would suggest you to consult an Otolaryngologist and get evaluated and a thorough clinical evaluation and investigations like Audiometry, x Ray MRI can help in diagnosis and treatment can be done accordingly..

In case if ringing does not resolve then you can be advised medicines like Tricyclic Anti-depressant like Amitryptiline, anti anxiety medication like Alprazolam, as well as Multivitamin supplements can be advised..
White noise devices can be advised..
You can also be advised Neuromodulation..
Avoid exposure to very loud sounds and also avoid diving, swimming etc..
