What Causes Numbness And Pain In The Toes?

I was diagnosed with a Morton s nuermona several months ago. Now my three right toes are numb, and it hurts to put weight on it. i can only wear my hiking boots to alleviate some of the pain. Now the pain is shooting up the inside of my thigh. It feels like a nerve problem. I am not sure what type of doctor to see or how to treat it. I can t walk on my foot when i get up in the morning.

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

The symptoms seem to be related to Morton's neuroma syndrome.

I suggest using anti-inflammatory medications such as Ibuprofen to relieve the symptoms.

I also recommend consulting a neurologist for further evaluation and specific treatment.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Dorina Gurabardhi, General & Family Physician
