What Causes Nostril Bleeds And Temple Area Swelling?

left temple swollen, red, & tender. My left nostril bleeds for no reason about once or twice per week. If I bite down hard & clinch my teeth on the left side my left temple area hurts. I'm also unusually tired. (Age, 59) (weight, 200) (5 ft. 8 inches tall).

Thanks for your query, i have gone through your query. the pain and swelling over the temporal area could be because of tooth infection leading to infratemporal and temporal space infection. consult a oral physician and take radiograph like OPG to rule out tooth infection. if it is tooth infection then get it treated with root canal treatment or extraction. you can take a course of antibiotics like penicillin and metronidazole combination(if you are not allergic) the bleeding from nose could be because of respiratory tract infection or increased blood pressure. consult an ENT surgeon to rule out these things. i hope my answer will help you. take care
