What Causes Nosebleeds And Coughing Up Of Blood?
My mother told me she had a nose bleed and coughed up some blood but never felt bad and still feels fine. What can cause that?Today was the first time it has happened. She is 76 and was just at her family dr and got a good report. All of her blood work was in order

I can understand your concern. Since your mother is 76, it is better we rule out some of tge dangerous causes of the coughing up of blood. I would suggest a CT lung where we can rule out carcinoma of lungs and whole lot of other duseases which lead to hemoptysis(coughing up of blood) since the blood tests are normal its a good sign.
