What Causes No Bowel Movements Even After Taking Laxative?
I have been diagnosed with bilateral lateral recess stenosis of L4/5 and L5/S1. I have trouble taking pain medication because I have children and the fuzzy feeling restricts me from taking care of them. Anyway my question is I have not been able to move my bowels for 5 days. I have no feeling of wanting to despite having taken laxative each day. Should I be worried?

Treatment in this case may include foods high in fiber, laxatives such as Miralax, enemas.
