What causes nerve sensitivity on the right side of the face?

What would cause nerve sensitivity on the right side of my face/scalp area? I ve had it for a few days and wonder if I may be bit by a spider over-night. I don t see evidence of swelling, redness, etc. I don t have any other symptoms...Seems strange...

Your symptoms seem to be related to trigeminal neuralgia.
Some suggestions about the treatment are:
-use anti-inflammatory medication such as ibuprofen 400 mg 3 times a day
-a cold pack or ice application can help
-also topical painkillers can help
-take vitamin b 12 supplements
