What Causes Nerve Pain In The Arm After Anterior Cervical Disc Surgery?

I had Anterior Cervical Disc surgery may 20, c7-c6,c5,c6 plates ,rods and cages 2 fusions.6 week xrays show that is healing nicely, however arm nerve pain is horable starting Pt.However yesterday when bending head down I get a strange sensation. in right leg and bottom of my right foot goes numb,till I straightened neck.Any idea what this is ?

Hello,

Any surgery on spine can lead to inadvertant injury to nerves which can cause numbness, tingling, sharp shooting pains which is known as lhermitte. Your symptoms are similar to lhermitte. You will require some neuropathic pain killers.
