What Causes Nausea,middle Back Pain And Abdominal Pain?

Male 66, has had abdominal pain, bilateral mid back pain, abdominal distinction, nausea, belching, has been to urgent care, gallbladder ultrasound negative, seen in Er last night, labs and abdominal CT scan negative. CT scan was without contrast. Decreased appetite, nausea today, fatigue, no fever or chills. Seen by PCP today, more labs. He has history of MI, four stents, blood in urine for 50 years, rheumatoid arthritis, obesity, hypertension. Very concerned about my friend. Any ideas. CT negative for obstruction or mass.

The negative CT with rest evaluation panel may indicate functional bowel disturbances or else giving referred pain. A thorough clinical examination with detailed history is demand of time to clearly stamp the possible differential diagnosis.
