Hi,I am Dr. Subhankar Chakraborty (Gastroenterologist). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
My wife on a random bases gets nauseous, vomitting and a runny nose which keeps here in bed for approx. 24 hours with each occurrence. She has had blood work done to see if something is found that is causing this, nothing yet. The episodes typicayl begin with a headache so she knows what is coming next. These bouts have been going on for 4-5 years and we are at a lose. It does not appear to be her diet as we have never changed it in our 30 years together and she is able to stomach almost anything we eat when we head out for ethnic foods. Any ideas or suggestions?

I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.
It is all the allergic condition is very likely and it could be due to environment related or in other word it could be seasonal, although does not required any specific treatment because it is the self-limiting type of condition, but in severe condition it can be given try with second generation antihistamine, such as Levocetirizine, along with this sinusitis need to be ruled out and if it is positive then treating the frontal sinusitis is necessary.
Hope I answered your query, let me know if I can assist you further.
