What Causes Nausea And Vomiting While On Levothyroxine, Vimpat And Depakote?
My sister is currently taking levothyroxine, Vimpat, Aptiom, Depakote ER and Fycompa. She has been experiencing nausea and vomiting to the extent it becomes necessary to take her to the ER for blood work and hydration. Her blood pressure also seems to spike during these episodes. Could the combination of medications cause these bouts of nausea and vomiting? Her GI tract is healthy and she does not have the flu.

I really appreciate your concern, drugs could induces the gastritis but here chances of this is less likely but it is the condition may be due to higher acid level and for that I would suggest to have Tab Omeprazole 40 mg and Domperidone 30 mg once in day, if the symptoms persist then better to see the ER hope this information helps.
