What Causes Nausea And Vomiting Sensation After Starting Clarithromycin?

I am taking Clarithromycn 250 mg tablet twice a day, however I have nausea and vomiting feeling and a headache, and I have to take three more days. I feel very uncomfortable and no appetite, however I must take a little food otherwise I cannot be mobile. I was given the tables of a week supply. Does the feeling disappear once I have finished the medicine? Please give me your answer. Thank you.

The symptoms may be due to drug induced gastritis & these are likely to be resolved after the drug is stopped.
