Hi, I had gone through your question and understand your concerns. Yes, it may be caused by levofloxacin which is known to lead to abdominal discomfort and nausea. However, postoperative ileus is one of possible causes and it usually resolves on its own after several days but sometimes it may be more serious. If there is obstipation with abdominal bloating and distension then you need to see doctor and do images of abdomen to see if there is some mechancial obstuction. If not, then you can be on liquid diet rest and take probiotics. This should improve your condition. Antibiotic should not be stopped unless symptoms become severe. Hope this answers your question.
