What Causes Nausea And Profuse Sweating Upon Smoking A Cigar?

My husband smokes a cigar on rare occasions. Last night he smoked a Monte Cristo with his martini and started sweating profusely, feeling nauseated, and was shaking. He ended up in the ER and tests showed no heart attack. I m suspecting the cigar. What do you think?
