What Causes Nausea And Indigestion After Having Food?

For about 3 weeks now I experienced extreme nausea. When I eat my food does not seem to digest well. It feels likes rocks sitting on top of my stomach. I have very bad acidic/metallic taste in my mouth that i can t get rid of even with flossing, brushing, and rinsing. I ve tried eating bland foods and i still get some coming back up. Sometimes i even vomit up a foamy white substance. I have missed my period for the last two months. There is the possibility of pregnancy but I am also under a lot of stress taking care of my sick mother. Could these stomach issues be due to pregnant or does it sound like another condition?

Hi thanks for contacting HCM...

Mostly here your symptoms seems to be due to.....
-acid reflux or
-gastritis or ulcer like condition by stress

Pregnancy can be ruled out by transvaginal USG and urine and serum Hcg estimation....

If no pregnancy then definetly your condition seems acid reflux disease...

Here are few advises.....
Low fat diet taken because high fatty food relax LES and delay gastric emptying....
Excess spicy food avoided...
Avoid taking stress....
Head elevation while sleeping....
Avoid sleeping after taking meal for at least 2 hour.....
Heavy meal at night avoided...
Reduce weight if obese .....

Fruits taken more....
Omeprazole taken for reducing acidity...
Coffe , chocolate in excess avoided....

If still no benefit then x ray , endoscopy or manometry like investigation done to rule out hiatus hernia....
