What Causes Nausea And Hot Flushes While On Birth Control Pills?

I started taking the birth control pill in May. But I would miss a few days, and decided I should get on depo. I started that in August and my three months should ve ended around November 17th. My boyfriend and I are very active and never use a condom. Ever since I ve been on the shot, he always finishes inside me. My period started the 16 and ended the 23rd. He came inside me on the 25. I was ovulating, and still ovulating at the time. Last night I felt very some nausea. and I ve been feeling very hot lately. Is there a possibility that I may be pregnant?

Hi,
Thanks for posting in HCM.
I understand your concern.
Protection against pregnancy wears off completely once the depo shot expires. Hence, you need to continue with the shot again or take precautions by other methods in case you need protection against pregnancy.
Based on your description and timing of the sexual activity, it appears that you might have just started with fertile period, but might not be sure that you would have ovulated. But since the sperms can survive for up to 72 hours in side female reproductive tract, there is a chance of fertilization in case you would have ovulated in the next couple of days.
Merely having nausea or feeling of hot doesn't mean that you could be pregnant.
Kindly wait for this period to be missed and then test your urine sample for pregnancy test. That would tell you the status. In case you get your periods in time, it states that you are not pregnant.
Hope the information provided would be helpful.
Al the best.
