What Causes Nausea Along With Weakness And Headache?
Hi doctor, had a miscarriage at 5weeks . previous scan revealed an in utero sac. Two weeks after the miscarriage, no sac was seen on ultrasound but rather a mild collection of fluid in my POD and a corpus luteum cyst in my left adnexea. Felt nauseous in past three days and also very weak with headache . Am better today, though feeling slight pains in my left pelvic side. Had three sexual contacts after d miscarriage but all were with protection, precisely a condom. Pls what is actually my problem? Am i pregnant again?
If you had protected sex then you shouldn't be pregnant, but it is always safer to take Emergency contraceptive pills within 72 hours if you are not on a regular Birth Control Pill.
However, take Acetaminophen (Tylenol) to get rid of a headache. Take vitamin supplements with minerals(iron, zinc & folic acid) & food rich in calcium & protein.
You can get physically examined by your gynaecologist or take a pregnancy test if symptoms don't improve.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Take care
Regards,
Dr Nupur K, General & Family Physician
