What Causes Nausea Along With Stomach Cramps?

Good Morning. I had unprotected sex with my partner on the 13th day of my menstrual cycle. He said that he didnt ejaculated inside, but just to be sure, I had taken Nordette as an ECP the next morning(14thday of menstrual cycle), 4 pills in the morning and 4 pills after 12 hours. I experienced common side effects like nausea, stomach cramps, tender and sore breast. Then yesterday, (21st day of my cycle/8 days after taking Nordette), I experienced very light spotting in the morning but it was gone during the rest of the day. This morning (22nd day of cycle/9days after taking Nordette) I had light spotting again, but it was more obvious now but was also gone through the rest of the day. what could possibly be happening? Is it withdrawal bleeding or implantation bleeding?

Hi,

You have to get a UPT to be sure. No other test will help. Any sort of unprotected intercourse can lead to pregnancy.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Harshita,
