What Causes Nausea After Replacing Mirena IUD?
Just had a mirena taken out after 5 years and replaced. I have had siver/ gray pieces a couple times I ve noticed while wiping. I also had to abnormal pap and before they removed my iud and replaced she did the vinegar cotton balls test to check for any abnormal areas but nothing looked suspicious so she didn t biopsy and followed with our removal and replaced. I ve had nausea pretty bad and just noticed the discharge is this from the iud? Nausea? And or discharge grey?

* Some amount of various colour discharge is common with a new device for a period of 2-3 weeks, though not very common; it is not an issue of panic.
* Nausea sounds to be stress induced gastritis rather than IUD.
