What Causes Nausea, Abdominal Pain And Dizziness With Back Pain?

My Mom has been taken to the ER 2 times this week with symptoms of nausea, dark urine, lower abdomen pain, fatigue, back pain, and dizziness. They have run blood tests and they say it s just a virus, but she has been in bed almost 24/7 for two weeks. I don t know what to do because they keep sending her home. She is starting to worry me and I don t know what to do any more. What do you suggest?

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

Since your blood tests have come Normal but she is still not relieved of her symposium I would advise you to get her ultrasound of the abdomen done to diagnose the cause of her abdominal pain.

Most common causes of chronic abdominal pain are cholecystitis, gastric ulcer and renal stone. Meanwhile, you can give her an over the counter painkiller like Advil to relieve the pain.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care
