What Causes Muscle Stiffness, Numbness In The Thumb And Finger Swelling?

HI, I have muscle joints stiffness. Months back I was biten by something on my foot. had a white ring around so I put some Campho phenique on and moved on. after sitting and I arise my ankles are tender, toes are swollen, my fingers are swelling I can not put on my rings. I am stiffer than normal. I did go to my PCP on 8/9/17 and described all the symptoms along with thumb numbness which was reported to be carpal tunnel. I reported my left should pain, left fore arm stiffness. Right are stiffness just cant reach around like I use to. Oh yes I am a 53 yr old bf and having hot flashes. Having weight gain and I am not eating no more than usual. Please help.

Hi,

It might be due to early signs of arthritis. As a first line management you can take analgesics like Aceclofenac or Tramadol for pain relief. If symptoms persist better to consult an orthopedics and get evaluated.
