What Causes Muscle Spasms In The Legs?

Two years back I had to have lower back surgery had a herniated disc and spinal stenosis. Now I’m having problems with the muscles in both legs it’s almost like a muscle spasm and paralyzed muscle at the same time .i still can walk when I have these episodes but it’s like my leg doesn’t want to move or it’s like a dead stick. I don’t no if it’s from the nerve damage I have or I need to get back to my doctor .I still have muscle spasms in both legs .

Hi,

Consult an orthopedician and get evaluated.

As of now, you can try analgesics like Tramadol or Diclofenac for symptomatic relief.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Shinas Hussain,
