What Causes Muscle Spasms In Rib Cage, Hands And Back Of Legs?

I have muscle spasms under on both sides of rib cage, hands and back of legs. Very painful. Last just a short time. Wakes me up at night and happens periodically during the day. Tingling on fingertips. Would it be necessary to seek immediate attention. This has been lasting for exactly one week. Thank you

You should consult your health care provider. Your symptoms seems to be due to some neuropathic problem or some electrolyte imbalance...so you should go for proper diagnostic measures to find out the actual cause thereby proper treatment.
