What Causes Muscle Pull In The Anus During Defecation?
Ok. Here goes! I am a 30 year old male, in good health. This question pertains to my anus. So when I go to use the restroom I wipe and all I notice that the part of the muscle that pushes out the feces seems not all to retract or go back to its normal state. And there is a part of it that I can see and feel. I doesn t hurt or anything. But I just need it not to do this. Now for that question: how do I get this corrected and are there any risk because of this? Thank You for your professional opinion
Hi. Thanks for your query. Noted your history of being 30 years old and in good health, notice a part of the anus being out on wiping and only part going back in. The commonest causes I can think of are: Prolapsing piles Rectal prolapse Polyp prolapse. I would advise you the following: Get a consultation and examination by a General Surgeon for inspection, per-rectal examination and colonoscopy with ano-proctoscopy. Further treatment will depend upon the exact cause thus found.
