What Causes Mucus In Stool?
My son has Jada runny stool for about 3 weeks. I took him to the doctors and they wrote him a prescription for a pro biotic. Now it s less consistent, however he had stool that was full of mucus and had a fishy odor to it. Do you know what the cause of this may be?

K causes for mucus in stools are many most common are food poisoning or any bacterial or viral infection ,irritable bowel syndrome ,inflammayory bowel disease and many .
But u can try a coarse of tab rifagut 400 mg bid dor 2 weeks this wil help in reducing the mucus with a good proviotic that is cap VSL#3 ONE TABLET a day for 10 days .WIth this treatment your son should be better .
