Hi,
Mucous discharge from anus has nothing to do with appendicectomy. Certainly, it is related with your stressed life. It is associated with irritable bowel syndrome and colitis and these diseases are related to the stressed lifestyle. I suggest you to modify your lifestyle.
1. Try to perform relaxational exercises.
2. Take sound sleep.
3. Physical exercise is a must.
4. Fibre intake in the diet should be increased.
5. Meat and stimulants should be limited.
6. Avoid drinking too much quantity of alcohol.
7. Avoid straining during defecation and don't sit in toilet for too long.
Hope for a speedy recovery.
